There are multiple ways to interact digitally at school. Some interactions include Email, Canvas Conversations, and Discussions.

Email: We use Gmail here at Ecker. This is is most teachers preferred form of digital communication.  Please remember to be polite and thoughtful when asking questions of your teachers.

• Email a teacher- Introduce yourself to a teacher. Answer one or more of the following questions in your email:

        1. What are you most excited about now that you are back at school?
        2. What is something you are not looking forward to now that we are back in school?
        3. What are some things the help you learn something new?
        4. How can teachers and your classmates challenge and support you this year?

Conversations: Conversations is the messaging tool inside of Canvas used instead of email to communicate.  Simply click on the "Inbox" on the left side navigation bar.

Discussions: Discussions are used in class to have a digital conversation! Teachers must set up a discussion for their students.  Students cannot set one up.

More information about Discussions can be found here. Links to an external site.
