This course has been created to help you build Nearpod into your teaching. Thank you for exploring this exciting tool and bringing thoughtful and engaging technology to your students. This page shares the overall structure of how this course was developed.

Each module contains two assignments- one Nearpod lesson submission and one reflection of the teaching of that lesson. Prerequisites have been added and so you must move through modules and complete assignments in order. Each module should take 1-2 hours to complete. Once the first module has been completed, it is expected that you will deliver a lesson for each module and then share a short reflection about that lesson. The first module does not require the delivery of a Nearpod lesson for its assignment. This module's assignment is introductory and asks that teachers make sure they access and customize their account options and create a plan for using Nearpod in the near future.

After completing modules 1-4, you will be eligible to become a Nearpod Certified Educator. This program is open and available to all educators who are working to use Nearpod and find ways to improve teaching and learning through the awesome professional learning community you will join. A module has been built following module 4 to guide you through the quick process to become a Nearpod Certified Educator.

Modules 5-8 work to help support best practices and pedagogical application of Nearpod and its integration with other technology tools like Canvas and Google Classroom.

Once you've completed all 8 modules, you will no doubt become a great ed tech leader in your grade and department. Your impact will reach beyond your classroom and into those of your colleagues. Please share your experience on Twitter or other social media with Nearpod and the other Nearpod Certified Educators!
